Existe un concepto generalizado y erróneo de creer que la prohibición por ley en Francia, promulgada en septiembre de 2010, de usar el burka y el niqab, los ominosos velos integrales que denigran a las mujeres musulmanas, en todos los espacios públicos, significa un coto al avance del Islam en Francia. Por el contrario, en el país galo, que recientemente manifestó su intención de ordenar la expulsión compulsiva de miles de gitanos, casi el diez por ciento de su población profesa la fe de Mahoma y constituye una seria amenaza a la larga tradición francesa en la reafirmación de la identidad nacional y laica del Estado.
En Francia, con una población estimada en casi 65.500.000 habitantes, residen más de tres millones de inmigrantes islamistas de origen magrebí; un millón y medio de argelinos, un millón de marroquíes y casi medio millón de tunecinos. Estas cifras se incrementan notablemente al sumar un número elevado de personas con nacionalidad francesa de difícil cuantificación, de origen magrebí (segunda y tercera generaciones), que, naturalmente, no constan en los registros de inmigración, al igual que un creciente número de inmigrantes ilegales.
Como en casi toda Europa, o Eurabia de acuerdo al neologismo popularizado por la periodista de Fox News Channel, Bat Ye’or en su libro Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis, que augura una Europa en que la cultura dominante no será occidental, sino islámica, los inmigrantes musulmanes de distintas procedencias, en lugar de adaptarse a las costumbres de los países que los acogen, imponen con descaro y prepotencia las suyas, en el poco simulado afán de imponer la supremacía islámica. Para ello, usufructúan las prerrogativas de las democracias que les temen y no vacilan en promover disturbios, usar la violencia y sembrar caos y miedo. Prueba de ello es la pasividad con que las fuerzas del orden toleran en casi todo el Viejo Continente, manifestaciones donde los musulmanes, temerariamente, agreden a la policía, anuncian que el Islam gobernará el mundo, pisotean y escupen las banderas nacionales o, en alianza con la extrema izquierda, hacen barricadas y queman cientos de autos y comercios como aconteció en los suburbios de París en 2005, exigiendo más beneficios para ellos que los que el Estado ya les provee.
En 2008, un artículo de Alain Arjun – Monmar, donde citaba como fuente a Le Monde, señalaba que en los manuales escolares franceses se suprimirían, a petición de las organizaciones islámicas, todas las referencias a Charles Martel (vencedor de los árabes en Poitiers en el año 732) y a Juana de Arco (patrona de Francia y santa de la Cristiandad) para no incomodar a los musulmanes.
El preocupante avance del Islam en Francia se puede ver en varios videos de YouTube. En uno de ellos difundido por Dale Hurd, corresponsal de CBN News en París, se recoge el testimonio de un parisino que quiso mostrarle al mundo lo que sucedía en su país. El denunciante, ante las seguras amenazas de muerte que recibiría, se escudó en el seudónimo de Maxime Lepante y dio a conocer imágenes tomadas con una cámara web oculta, donde se veía a centenares de devotos musulmanes rezando un viernes con protección privada, en la acera de un barrio de París y bloqueando las calles con barreras, impidiendo a los habitantes de ese distrito salir o entrar en sus casas. Explicaba Lepante que los rezos o cualquier adoración en la vía pública están prohibidos en Francia , pero la policía recibe órdenes de no intervenir. La ley francesa dice que cualquier persona tiene derecho a profesar la creencia que quiera y tener cualquier religión, mas debe practicarla en su casa, mezquita, sinagoga o iglesia.
El corolario de lo relatado por «Maxime Lepante» es que la exhibición semanal del poder musulmán, adueñándose de calles de la ciudad de París, denota que el Islam conquista parte del territorio francés, como lo quiere hacer con Europa y todo el mundo.

The alarming spread of Islam in France can be seen in several videos of you tube. One broadcast by Dale Hurd, CBN News correspondent in Paris contains the testimony of a Parisian who wanted to show the world what was happening in his country. In order for the complainant to secure himself from the death threats he would receive , he hid behind the pseudonym of Maxime Lepante and released pictures from a camera hidden web, which showed hundreds of Muslim worshipers praying on a Friday with private protection, in a sidewalk in a Paris suburb and barriers blocking streets, preventing residents from leaving or entering the district at home.
